Jonas Coomans (°1983)
started his musical training of the bassoon at the Stedelijke Muziekschool in Mol with Francis Pollet. In 2001 he continued this training at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Antwerp, where, apart from the bassoon, he studied the contrabassoon with Danny d'Haene. From 2005 onwards, he studied at the Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium of Den Haag with Johan Steinmann. He followed master classes with among others. Sergio Azzolini, Georg Klutsch, Gustavo Nunez en Barthold Kuijken. He already played in the following orchestras and ensembles: de Filharmonie, Het Symfonieorkest van Vlaanderen, Het Nationaal Orkest van België, I Solisti del Vento, Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest en het Prometheus Ensemble. Until 2006 he was a permanent member of the Beethoven Academie. Since September 2007 he works as a solo contrabassoon player at the Brussels Philharmonic, formerly known as the Vlaams Radio-Orkest. He is also a member of the wind quintet Houthandel Antwerpen, which received the first prize in the ‘Gouden Vleugels’ competition, organized in 2009. He works as a bassoon teacher in the music schools of Mol and Borgerhout.
He has acquired his computer knowledge mostly through self study but since 2008 he follows a course in web design at the centre for adult education. |
Bob Hamblok (°1981)
started his IT training in the Provinciale Handelsschool Hasselt, after which he perfected his training in the Hogeschool Limburg where he received a degree in applied informatics. Since 2007, he has worked as a full time web developer at MIA bvba. Currently he is one of the few 'Typo3 Certified Integrators' in Belgium. Not only does he have a thorough knowledge of the most frequently used web frameworks (Drupal, Typo3, Joomla, Zend), but he is also specialized in Flash AS3, PHP, Flex, Javascript. Musical software such as Cubase, Ableton Live , Finale and Sibelius has no secrets for him.
Bob studied four years of Classical Piano with Elian Rodrigues, Composition with Luc Van Hove and Electro-Acoustical Composition with Joris de Laet at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. |
